Elvis Presley is well known for his luxury lifestyle, which included his passion for collecting luxury cars. The King of rock & roll was estimated to own more than 200 vehicles during his lifetime, including some of the most famous vehicles of all time, one of which is now up for grabs. A six-door Mercedes-Benz 600 that was purchased by Elvis Presley in 1970 will be auctioned on December 6 in Weybridge, England. In 2005, the car was purchased by a dealer from the German company car in the U.S., and then exported to the United Kingdom. The vehicle has been restored and the British auction house Bonhams has estimated to fetch between 220,000 and 300,000 euros at the auction.

The luxurious Garia golf cart, manufactured at the same factory that builds the Porsche Boxster and Cayman, is now also available as an LSV (Low Speed Vehicle) equally fit for the golf course and the road. The Garia LSV, street-legal version of the world’s most expensive golf cart, has been fitted with street legal safety equipment such as seatbelts and side mirrors and a hydraulic brake system. The Garia LSV is being claimed to do 25mph with its 4hp electric motor. Priced at a cool £40,000 (about $61,980), the street-legal multi-purpose electrical golf car has hand-stitched seats, 10-inch aluminum wheels, digital instrumentation layout and a refrigerator built into the dashboard.

After the very powerful Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, we have with us the Aston Martin Super Sport Limited Edition supercar, which will sell for a whopping €7,500,000 (approx. US $9,668,750). Only eight examples of the supercar will be developed and produced in cooperation with Star Electric Cars France. The sports car will get its power from a twin-turbocharged 5.4-liter V8 engine delivering up to 950bhp. The engine has been mated to a six-speed manual transaxle, which is synced with an integral, torque-sensing, helical limited-slip differential. An F1 paddle shift gearbox is available as an option. The Aston Martin Super Sport Limited Edition will come with powder coated exhaust system, Brembo or AP carbon ceramic brakes and the in-trend carbon fiber bodywork.

The luxurious interior flaunts leather, Alcantara, carbon fiber, Recaro seats and the sat nav system with an integrated iPod connection. Each of the eight cars will have a different color scheme, and yes, the sky blue is available immediately. All you need now is €7,500,000.

Despite being known for its extremely-fast, beautifully detailed supercars, Koenigsegg might have outdone itself with its latest model, the Agera. Bowing today at the Geneva Motor Show, the Koenigsegg Agera is a high-performance, light-weight super coupe reserved for true speed enthusiasts.

The latest creation coming from the brilliant minds at Swedish supercar maker, Koenigsegg, is the ninth model in the automaker’s 15-year history, and the seventh model currently in production.

The Agera is obviously does not represent any type of departure from the traditional styling or packaging that we have come to know and love from Koenigsegg, but rather, much like Porsche, tends to be an evolutionary development as opposed to an revolutionary change. For example, the Agera shares the same length (169 inches), width (78.6 inches) and height (44.1 inches) of the original CCX.

When you mash the accelerator pedal you will find the familiar 4.7-liter V8 from past and current Koenigsegg models, but tuned to produce 910 hp at a redline of 6,850 rpm. Torque comes in at 811 lb-ft at 5,100 rpm.

The Agera weighs only 2,832 pounds dry, and can blast from zero-to-62 mph in a blisteringly quick 3.1 seconds on its way to 124 mph in a total of only 8.9 seconds. If you have the pleasure of finding enough open road to push this supercar to its limits, Koenigsegg estimates you will top out at over 245 mph.

One very unique aspect of the Agera is its use of Inconel superalloy for the exhaust system. Inconel is a trademarked name for a family of austenitic nickel-chromium-based superalloys. Inconel is renowned for its performance in extremely high temperature environments, but is also known for being quite difficult to shape or machine due to its rapid hardening attributes. Naturally, Inconel superalloy is at right at home on the Agera, as well as its fellow Koenigsegg model, the Trevita.

Helping to keep the Koenigsegg light on its feet, the chassis is manufactured out of carbon fiber and aluminum honeycomb, along with integrated fuel tanks in order to create an optimal weight distribution. GTSpirit points out that this results in an astonishingly light chassis of just 159 pounds.

Despite its low weight, Koenigsegg has still equipped the supercar with massive 392×36 mm front and 380×34 mm rear ventilated and drilled ceramic discs. Surrounding these massive brakes are 19-inch wheels with 255/35/R19 tires in the front, and 20-inch wheels wrapped in 335/30/R20 tires in the rear. When coupled with its standard advanced traction control system, this supercar is ready to perform in virtually any weather.

The Agera is loaded with standard technology, such as unique digital information and warning systems, which naturally includes a G-sensor alarm. The G-sensor alarm is not for show, either, as this Swedish supercar can manages to sustain 1.6 lateral Gs. Of course creature comforts like USB plug-in and MP3 recognition also come standard.

BMW doesn’t really do flights of fancy, so upon seeing the company’s Vision EfficientDynamics concept with our own eyes at the Frankfurt Auto Show, we knew all these strange curves had to be leading up to something very interesting and production-ready. Today, we got an answer in the form of the 2012 BMW M1.

It’s an interesting time for BMW to revive the M1 nameplate (last heard from in 1981), as Mercedes-Benz is readying the reborn gullwing, the 2010 SLS AMG. And coincidentally enough, Benz is working on an electric version of the SLS that would use four electric motors and two transmissions to achieve a 3.8-second 0-to-60-mph time and a 150-mph top speed.

In contrast to the all-electric SLS and the R8-inspired Audi E-tron, the BMW M1 will be a plug-in hybrid. Drivetrain components will apparently come straight out of the EfficientDynamics concept, which had a “mid-mounted” 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbodiesel despite a 2+2 seating arrangement.

The concept also had two electric motors — one packaged between the diesel inline-3 and a rear transaxle version of BMW’s M DCT dual-clutch gearbox, and the other up front driving the front wheels through a single-speed gearbox. Ninety-eight lithium polymer cells provide the power for the electric motors. Peak output of all power sources, according to BMW, would be 356 hp, along with 590 pound-feet of torque.

Though everything’s preliminary at this point, the M1 would evidently be a little slower than Benz’s SLS Electric, as BMW claims a 4.8-second 0-60, along with an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.

Look for aerodynamics to play a huge role on the 2012 M1, as BMW is likely to apply many of the lessons it has learned Formula One racing. Various ducts and folds in the bodywork will be used to smooth air flow and create downforce. If BMW can do all this and come up with a car that looks as stunning as the original Giugiaro-penned M1, that would really be a feat of design.

It can hardly be said that the Audi R8 5.2 is an automotive underachiever: Iron Man’s ride of choice is Hollywood gorgeous and, with 10 cylinders and 525 horsepower, fearsomely fast. Sixty miles per hour arrives in 3.7 seconds, and the speedometer needle will swing all the way to 196 miles per hour with a firmly planted right foot. But such scintillating performance hasn’t stopped Audi from turning this two-seat Perfect 10 up to 11. The new R8 GT has everything that makes the R8 5.2 so sensational, plus a good deal more.

In the GT, the R8’s normally aspirated 5.2-liter V-10 is invigorated to 560 horsepower (matching its corporate cousin, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4), a gain entirely realized through tweaks to the engine’s electronic controls. It is matched only to a paddle-operated 6-speed sequential manual transmission that’s able to change gears in the blink of an eye—actually, at one-tenth of a second; gear changes happen about three times quicker than a blink.

But the R8 GT is about more than just additional power—or, more accurately, less. The car is markedly lighter than the standard R8 5.2. Audi’s engineers studied every aspect of the R8 in a single-minded search for weight savings. In the end, they excised more than 220 pounds from a host of places. For instance: Thinner windshield glass and the use of a polycarbonate rear window save 19.84 pounds; new glass-reinforced plastic seats save 69.45 pounds; lighter carpeting saves 17.42 pounds; and a fixed rear wing in place of the standard car’s articulated spoiler saves 2.65 pounds. As every racer knows, little things mean a lot.

No surprise, more ponies and fewer pounds mean the R8 GT is quicker and faster than the R8 5.2: 60 mph arrives in 3.6 seconds and the top speed rises to 199 mph. For those eager to exploit the GT’s talents on the racetrack, a factory-competition package is available, which includes a bolt-in roll bar, four-point seat belts, a fire extinguisher, and a kill switch for the battery.

The company plans to build a scant 333 R8 GTs, priced in Germany at 193,000 euros (about $240,000). For now, the car is earmarked for European consumption only, but Audi hasn’t ruled out the possibility of bringing a few precious examples of this rarest R8 to America. Tony Stark will be pleased.
