Korean high-end audio maker Emille Labs perfectly knows the physics of sound. In 771 C.E., a huge bronze bell was cast by King Hyegong of the Silla Empire, South Korea called the Emillé Bell, and 1220 years later, Emille Labs took its name and inspiration from the famous bell, handcrafting all of its tube-based electronics into the new Rapture monoblock power amplifier featured here. The beautifully designed Rapture uses the finest components throughout, such as Lundahl balanced input transformers, carefully selected tubes (in this case, four 6550s, three 6350s and one 6DJ8) with adjustable output bias, and hand-wound output transformers to deliver a frequency response from 10Hz to 30kHz (±1dB). This new feature will not only announce your tune, but it will also tell you how much battery you have left.

Logitech’s audio group Ultimate Ears has already given us some expensive earphones, including the Triple.fi 10vi and the UE-11 Pro. Now, the company has teamed up with EMI Music’s Capitol Studios for its first custom In-Ear Reference Monitors. Designed for professional studio engineers and producers for use during recording, mixing and mastering original music content, the new In-Ear Reference Monitors combine the Ultimate Ears pro audio sound with a flat frequency response curve. Delivering up to -32 dB of noise isolation, the In-Ear Reference Monitors reproduce and deliver music straight from the source into the listener’s ears. Each in-ear reference monitor features three balanced armature speakers (woofer, mid-driver and tweeter).

The standard color and artwork is an opaque black faceplate with a clear back housing, and it features the Capitol Studios logo on the right monitor and the Ultimate Ears logo on the left monitor. They are also offering a range of shell colors to personalize with individual artwork. The Ultimate Ears In-Ear Reference Monitors are priced at $999.

CrystalRoc has adorned each Beats headphone with more than 4,320 Swarovski crystal Elements in crystal and black hematite. They will also make the headphones available with chrome or gold plating. Originally created as a prototype and master sample for the 1991 NAMM show, the custom Neon guitar (pictured left) by award winning artist/designer Rich Roland of NEO Products Inc. has now reached Etsy. Coming straight from the company’s private collection, it is an entirely handcrafted 24 3/4 scale fully playable guitar, which features Carbon Graphite neck and fingerboard, Seymour Duncan Active Pickup and a 1/4 inch jack. The illuminated Neon Les Paul guitar flaunts blue argon neon under thermo-formed acrylic body. Colors change to what is being played on the guitar, thanks to the built-in sound-sensitive light organ. The internally lit Rich Roland’s Neon guitar is priced at a cool $10,000. They are also offering the $15,000 Neon Lizard Guitar, which won Best Neon Artist award in the U.S. in 1993 from Signs of the Times Magazine.
